A spirited 10-month-old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever/Hound mix from New Braunfels, TX, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxuriously tan coat. This playful and high-energy pup is ready to bring endless fun and companionship to her new loving home!
LuLu is a bundle of energy who adores fetching a ball, going on walks, playing with squeaky toys, and enjoying bone treats. Her intelligence shines through with her mastery of commands like "sit," "shake," and "get the ball." Although she hasn't had formal obedience training, her enthusiasm and willingness to learn make her a fantastic candidate for training classes!
One of LuLu's most endearing quirks is her tendency to sit on your lap, despite her large size. She loves mimicking the family's maltipoo, adding an extra layer of charm to her already delightful personality. LuLu is known for her friendly demeanor, getting along wonderfully with other dogs and even showing a special affection for cats, playing nicely with them and enjoying their company.
When left alone for short periods, LuLu might whine at the gate but soon settles down in the backyard, showing her adaptability and resilience. However, she does have a particular dislike for water, so bath time might require a bit of patience and gentle encouragement.
LuLu thrives on a routine that includes feeding in the morning, at noon, and before dusk, with evening walks being a highlight of her day. Her vaccinations are up to date, and she is spayed and microchipped, ensuring she is healthy and ready for her new adventure!
This playful and stubborn pup requires a fenced yard where she can safely expend her boundless energy. Given her chewing stage and tendency to jump up for hugs, LuLu's new family should be experienced dog guardians who are patient and willing to guide her through this phase with positive reinforcement.
