Meet Myla!
A playful four-year-old Boxer mix from St. Louis, MO, whose striking tricolor coat and icy blue eyes are only part of her captivating charm. This medium-sized beauty weighs in at fifty pounds and has a larger-than-life personality that’s bursting with energy and affection! Myla’s ideal day includes a game of fetch, a splash in the water, and gnawing on her favorite rawhides. She’s also completed formal obedience training, so she’s well-versed in commands like sit, stay, come, shake, and more. With the right guidance, she’s a fast learner and a delight to be around!
While Myla is a bundle of fun, she thrives with a pet parent who can offer her consistent leadership. She needs a guardian who can help her remain calm around other dogs, as she can be a bit dog-aggressive. Her new family will need to be patient and committed to working with her on behavior modification. But with her crate training, house manners, and love of routine, she’s set up for success. Myla does well around young children, making her a great companion for a family with little ones. She will flourish in a home with a fenced yard where she can burn off her energy safely.
This sweet girl may be a bit stubborn at times, but her affectionate side is irresistible. She absolutely melts when she’s being cuddled, making it easy to fall in love with her! Myla is crate trained, house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, so she’s ready to join her new loving home.
While she’s not quite sure how she feels about cats, she’s excited to meet new people—though she can get a little anxious with the doorbell ringing or new visitors arriving. Myla has some itchy skin that requires weekly medicated baths, but with a bit of extra care, she’s as healthy as can be!
