A playful almost five-year-old Siberian Husky mix from Brooklyn, NY, whose energy and affection are as striking as her black and tan coat paired with those mesmerizing icy blue eyes. This medium-sized, 40-pound bundle of love is fully house-trained and obedience-trained, knowing all the essential commands like sit, down, paw, and here. Momo is a social butterfly who thrives around people and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a family with another playful dog or someone who has time to spend with her throughout the day.
Momo’s ideal day involves lots of fun activities! She loves being chased and is always up for a good game of fetch with her tennis balls or tugging on ropes. While she’s great at adapting to different routines, she’ll flourish in a home where she gets plenty of exercise, whether through long walks, backyard zoomies, or playtime with a canine buddy. A fenced yard would be perfect for this active girl to burn off her high energy.
Though she’s now comfortable being left alone for longer periods, Momo initially struggled with separation anxiety. She’s come a long way and does well when left alone during the day, but in her new home, starting with a crate might help her feel more secure. She’s all about being close to her humans and loves to spend time by their side, making her the perfect companion for someone who works from home or can spend ample time with her.
One of Momo’s most adorable quirks? She loves to sleep completely rolled over on her back, legs in the air, without a care in the world! She’s also very friendly with strangers and has been great with young children, making her a joy to have around.
