A charming almost eleven-year-old Domestic Short Hair from Morris Plains, NJ, whose soft orange tabby coat and mesmerizing amber eyes will instantly capture your heart. Bear's personality is as bright as his color, with an equal measure of playful antics and warm companionship. He’s a medium-sized gentleman weighing around fifteen pounds, just the perfect size for a cozy lap companion when he’s in the mood for some snuggles.
Bear has a delightful, quirky side—his two “best buds,” a flamingo and a froggie, follow him from room to room. Whether it’s lounging in the sun or keeping a vigilant watch from his favorite windowsill, Bear loves to track the movements of birds outside! He can also be found chasing after a ball of yarn with surprising agility—he might even bring it back to you on occasion!
Bear is best suited as an indoor-only kitty. His ideal family keeps him indoors unless there is a safe outdoor setup, like a catio or a harness for supervised time outside. His love of birdwatching can still be fully satisfied from a cozy perch by the window or a secure outdoor space.
One of Bear's most adorable traits? His perfectly symmetrical stripes! Not only does Bear enjoy a good conversation, but he's also quite opinionated, especially when it comes to debating with his human companions. He loves to chat and has no problem letting you know exactly what’s on his mind.
