This 50-pound sweetheart is a professional nap enthusiast who sleeps 90% of the day, making her an amazing fit for anyone seeking a laid-back, easygoing pet. When she's awake, Bea enjoys short walks, leisurely sunbathing sessions, and chasing tennis balls at her own pace. She knows her commands—sit, stay, potty, outside, crate, and come—and is house-trained, crate-trained, and well-versed in the art of being an excellent listener.
While Bea is deeply loyal and loving with humans, she can be selective with other dogs. She has been known to get along with large male dogs, but small dogs and female dogs are not her preferred companions, and she has had altercations with them in the past. For this reason, Bea will thrive as either the only dog in the home or with a compatible large male dog. Her future family should be mindful of these preferences to ensure her happiness and safety.
Bea is in excellent health, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She’s perfectly content being left alone for short periods—she’ll likely spend that time snoozing peacefully. Her mellow demeanor doesn’t require a strict routine, but she enjoys being let out in the yard a few times a day and indulging in brief walks.
