A gentle and affectionate five-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix from Oak Forest, IL, whose heart is as big as her 120-pound frame. Wrapped in a stunningly soft white coat, Finley is a laid-back sweetheart who finds joy in life’s simplest pleasures—gentle petting, cozy naps, and being near the people she adores. While she may be on the larger side, Finley’s energy levels are anything but overwhelming. She enjoys a nice walk or some time outside in a securely fenced yard, but she’s just as happy lounging around the house and soaking up love. Her favorite activities include playing with her toys, resting at your feet, and offering her paw in the most endearing way possible! She’s well-mannered and knows several commands, including sit, stay, lay down, come, and, of course, the ever-charming "paw."
Finley thrives in a calm environment with a pet parent who can spend plenty of time with her. While she’s independent and does well when left alone for short periods, she truly enjoys the presence of her favorite humans. A fenced yard is a must for this big girl, as she loves having a secure space to stretch her legs and explore at her own pace. When it comes to other dogs, she can be selective—some are her cup of tea, while others, not so much. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog in her new home. Her thoughts on cats remain a mystery, as she hasn’t had much experience with them.
Fully vaccinated, spayed, house-trained, and microchipped, Finley is ready to settle into a new loving home where she can be the center of attention.
