Meet Bradach!
A snuggly one-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix from Tacoma, WA, whose heart is as big as his paws and whose favorite place in the world is right beside you—preferably on your lap or curled up at your feet!
Wrapped in a striking coat of black and cream, Bradach is a gentle, goofy soul with a heart full of love and a hint of quirk. Born into a pack of seven, he's always known the comfort of companionship, and now he's searching for a best friend who won't mind a bit of clinginess—or a dog-shaped shadow! He's what you'd call a classic velcro dog, the kind who wants to be where you are, whether you're binge-watching your favorite show, cooking dinner, or just folding laundry.
Bradach is playful and curious, especially when his favorite treat toys or tennis balls are involved. He knows "sit" and "lay down" and is eager to keep learning, especially with some tasty motivation and patient guidance. He’s house-trained, but sometimes benefits from a little reminder to head outside. Like many young pups, he’s still figuring out his emotional world. When he feels anxious—especially when alone—he may chew on furniture or soothe himself by licking his leg. He’s currently taking anxiety medication and would thrive in a calm, structured environment with a consistent routine.
Bradach can be a little socially awkward at times, not always picking up on the body language of other dogs, so he’s best with canine companions who are gentle and understanding. A securely fenced yard is a must, and while his compatibility with cats is still a mystery, his caregivers believe he just needs someone who can offer love, patience, and the kind of companionship that lets him blossom.
