Meet Munchie and Pinky!
Two spirited seniors currently living in Burbank, CA—Munchie is a golden-and-white Chihuahua mix who’s thirteen years old, and Pinky is his white-and-golden sidekick, an eleven-year-old Chihuahua with a teeny 5-pound frame and a whole lot of heart. Together, they’re a delightful duo full of love, charm, and just the right amount of mischief!
Munchie is 13 pounds of sunshine and snuggles. He’s the kind of guy who believes every day should start with a belly rub and end with a squirrel chase—or at least the dream of one! He lives for outdoor adventures, couch cuddles, and the art of blanket burrowing. Munchie is a big fan of long walks and rump scratches, and he absolutely lights up at the park! While he gets along well with dogs his size, he prefers a home without cats, as he finds them just a bit too chase-worthy. Munchie also has Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD), but don’t worry—this sweet senior thrives on a low-fat, poultry-based diet and does wonderfully with consistency and care.
Then there’s Pinky—tiny in size, huge in personality! This senior might have no teeth, but don’t tell him that—he’s got the confidence of a lion and the bark of a little bodyguard. Pinky’s favorite hobbies include overseeing home security (a.k.a. announcing big dog visitors), mealtime enthusiasm, and curling up next to his favorite people. He’s cat-friendly, relaxed, and great with small animals. Pinky does need a little extra TLC—he’s currently on a stable regimen to support his heart, lungs, and digestive system, and handles it all like a champ. His caregiver is even happy to provide a three-month supply of his medication to help with the transition.
Both boys are crate-trained, house-trained, and used to a peaceful, loving environment. Whether adopted together or separately, Munchie and Pinky need families who can maintain their special diets, routines, and offer plenty of affection (and maybe a few treats along the way). A home with another small dog would be a bonus, especially for social butterfly Munchie.
Could one—or both—of these lovable charmers be your next companion?
