Meet Juno!
A spirited two-year-old sable ferret currently living in Middletown, CT, whose essence is a delightful dance of playfulness wrapped in a petite five-pound frame.
Juno was born in July 2023. She is a joyful little explorer who thrives on curiosity, small adventures, and the sweet comforts of her hammock naps. Her favorite activities include batting around tiny balls with impressive ferret enthusiasm, curling up in cozy hideaways for secret naps, and greeting her caregiver with that signature ferret wiggle of happiness each time she’s let out to roam.
This bright-eyed girl is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, and she loves munching on her normal ferret diet sprinkled with tasty chew sticks for enrichment. While Juno is generally a happy and playful companion, she has been feeling a bit left out since her family welcomed a new dog. Her current caregiver has noticed her expressing her frustration by dumping her water sometimes and going to the bathroom anywhere in her cage, which is cleaned every few days. Her cage will travel with her to her new home, where she needs a loving new family ready to give her more out-of-cage time, play, and gentle interaction.
Juno dreams of a new caring environment with someone who understands ferrets’ need for supervised exploration, stimulation, and snuggly rest. She would thrive with a guardian who enjoys setting up fun enrichment activities, like tunnels and soft balls, and who appreciates her quirky ferret antics—whether it’s hiding socks, peeking around corners with her bright eyes, or snoozing adorably with her little paws draped over her hammock edge.
