Meet Chicken and Porkchop!
A heartwarming bonded pair of Domestic Shorthair siblings currently living in Brooklyn, NY, both seven and a half years old, who are ready to fill a new home with love, cuddles, and the occasional surprise head-lick.
Chicken, the gray tabby and white brother, is the larger and slightly more reserved half of this dynamic duo. Though he tends to hide when strangers arrive, his affection runs deep for those he trusts. Once he's comfortable, you’ll find him close by, soaking in your presence with soft purrs and gentle nuzzles. Porkchop, the dilute tortoiseshell sister with white accents, brings the sunshine! She’s social, easygoing, and always the first to climb into a lap or curl up beside someone in need of a little comfort. Their sweetest trait? When someone in the family feels sad or under the weather, both cats instinctively offer gentle licks to hands or foreheads. A tender feline remedy from two deeply empathetic hearts!
Together, Chicken and Porkchop form a snug, inseparable team of loving lap cats. Birdwatching is one of their favorite shared hobbies! Watching from a sunny windowsill with tails twitching, and occasionally launching into the air in an impressive attempt to catch their feathered friends. They also enjoy chasing toy balls around the house and curling up together for naps, ideally close to their favorite human. They’re both affectionate, vocal, and always ready for attention from those they trust.
While they haven’t lived with dogs and are a bit hesitant around other cats, these two flourish in a calm, loving environment where they can be your only fur-kids. They’re a bonded pair with a deeply rooted connection, and they thrive best when they’re together.
Chicken and Porkchop are seeking a new loving home that will embrace them as true family. Snuggles on the couch, shared quiet mornings, and cozy birdwatching afternoons included! Could your heart (and lap) be the one they’ve been waiting for?
