Meet Tucker!
A gentle six-year-old Goldendoodle currently in Scottsdale, AZ, whose essence is a delightful blend of calm affection and goofy charm, all wrapped in a soft black and white coat. Tucker’s journey took a heartbreaking turn when his beloved guardian passed away, and now he’s hoping to find a new loving home where his big heart can shine again.
A second-generation Goldendoodle with a laid-back spirit, Tucker is on the smaller side for his breed at around 60 pounds, but his personality more than fills the room. He’s a quiet, easygoing companion who rarely barks, loves being near his people, and offers his affection freely without ever being demanding. Whether he’s trotting beside you on a walk, cooling off with a swim, or simply lounging in a sunny spot for an afternoon nap, Tucker brings a peaceful joy to every moment!
This sweet boy is wonderfully well-mannered and house-trained, and he’s a vet’s dream; calm, friendly, and cooperative. Tucker gets along beautifully with other dogs, making him a great match for multi-dog households or social pups looking for a gentle friend. Though he hasn’t had much experience with cats, his easygoing nature suggests he might adjust well with a slow, thoughtful introduction.
Tucker had a past brush with Valley Fever, but thanks to great care, he’s in remission, currently needs no medication, and remains healthy and active. His needs are simple: love, companionship, a bit of routine, and someone to laugh at his goofy expressions and that oversized nose paired with the world’s most endearing grin!
He hasn’t had formal training beyond knowing “sit,” but with his sweet disposition and eagerness to please, he’s a great candidate for positive reinforcement training and may even enjoy it. His ideal family will appreciate his mellow energy and make space in their hearts (and on the couch) for a dog who just wants to be by your side.
