Meet Belle!
A sweet and soulful almost three-year-old Kelpie mix currently in Azle, TX, whose tricolor coat is just as vibrant as her heart is gentle. Belle is the kind of girl who melts into your side for a cuddle, flashes a warm-eyed smile, and politely sits for treats with the elegance of a pup who has clearly aced her obedience classes.
Belle has completed multiple levels of training and knows commands like sit, stay, down, up, go, and kennel! She’s crate-trained, house-trained, microchipped, and healthy with her vaccinations up to date. At about 30 pounds, she’s a wonderfully portable, medium-sized companion who enjoys daily walks, chew toys, and cozying up with her people.
Belle is also an enthusiastic adventure buddy who absolutely loves the water. After spending time at the beach, she made it clear that splashing and exploring near the water are right up her alley! She’s a fantastic travel companion, too. Once she’s in the car, she’s happy to chill out, enjoy the ride, and keep her person company along the way!
Her love of togetherness extends to everyday life. Belle happily joins her caregiver outside while working in the yard and enjoys simply being part of whatever is happening. She welcomes visitors warmly after a little initial barking and loves meeting people.
Belle has also been introduced to a cat, and the meeting went smoothly, showing that she may be compatible with a feline friend with thoughtful introductions. She especially enjoys other dogs and lets her social side shine at the dog park!
With her affectionate personality and love of activity, Belle would do well with an engaged family who includes her in their adventures. She may also be a wonderful companion for a family with children! Her calm, loving nature and playful spirit make her a joy to have nearby.
