Meet Zoe!
A spirited almost eleven-year-old Australian Cattle Dog currently in Jonestown, PA, whose essence is a whirlwind of loyalty, energy, and charm wrapped in a stunning blue mottled coat.
Zoe is the kind of dog who turns fetch into an Olympic sport and frisbee into pure art. Her favorite rubber frisbee is practically an extension of herself, just mention it and you’ll see her eyes light up with joy! True to her herding roots, she thrives on activity and engagement. Whether it's a spirited game in the backyard or a brisk walk on leash (where she’s a total pro), Zoe is always ready to go by your side, ears perked and tail wagging!
At home, she’s a calm, well-mannered companion who’s completely house-trained, doesn’t chew furniture, and settles peacefully when left alone. She loves beef hide bones and stuffed toys, even if they don’t last long, she relishes the fun while they do. Zoe knows all the basics like sit, stay, come, and lay down, and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. In fact, she’s a bit of a sensitive soul, gentle encouragement brings out her best.
Zoe has a few strong preferences: she’s not comfortable around young children, cats, or other dogs, and she would do best in an adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. While she’s had some tough experiences with other dogs in the past, she remains composed on walks and at the vet, and coexists peacefully with a senior pup in her current home. Her reactions come from a place of fear, not aggression, and she communicates her boundaries respectfully.
Car rides? Well, let’s just say Zoe’s not a fan unless she's laying down, watching the world whiz by makes her queasy! But give her a quiet place to rest, a loving routine, and an active caregiver who understands her breed, and she’ll be your loyal little shadow, always ready for your next adventure.
Ready to make room in your life for a loyal, high-energy companion who’ll never say no to a game of frisbee?
