At 35 pounds, Coach is the perfect medium-sized companion for anyone looking to add energy and affection to their life. He’s a walking bundle of joy who thrives on companionship and play. Whether he’s squeaking his favorite animal toy, gleefully zooming across the yard, or chewing on a satisfying bone, Coach brings enthusiasm to everything he does! His day begins with yard time and play, setting the tone for an active, tail-wagging adventure.
Coach is obedient with basic commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and “bed,” and he’s ready to learn even more with a family who uses positive reinforcement. While he hasn’t had formal training, he’s a quick study with a big heart and lots of potential. Public outings are a breeze for this social boy, he loves meeting new people and is always on his best behavior during travel or adventures out and about.
Though his joyful energy sometimes overwhelms smaller or more timid pets, Coach is playful and generally friendly with other dogs. With cats, he’s more curious than confrontational, chasing them in a way that’s more goofy than aggressive. His high spirits also make him a fun, if slightly bouncy, companion for kids.
Coach does have a sensitive side. He forms deep bonds with his people and struggles with being left alone for too long, showing signs of separation anxiety after a few hours. He needs a guardian who can be patient and consistent, offering him a secure routine and a comforting presence as he builds confidence.
