A spirited Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix currently in Houston, TX, estimated to be one-year-old, whose essence is a whirlwind of joy wrapped in a stunning brown brindle coat.
Bean’s story begins during a rare Houston freeze, when this affectionate boy sought warmth and comfort by trotting into a family’s yard. Since then, he’s been safe and cared for, but now he’s ready for his next chapter. One filled with play, companionship, and endless love! Weighing in at around 40 pounds, Bean is a perfect medium-sized buddy with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
This playful pup is full of energy and thrives in the company of humans. He’s a classic cuddlebug who enjoys toys, blankets, and a good round of fetch! He’s been incredibly gentle with children (including a ten-year-old friend) and has shown nothing but sweetness and curiosity around other dogs, though his interactions have been limited so far. Bean knows basic commands like “sit” and “no,” and is looking for a pet parent who can continue his journey with positive reinforcement and structure.
Bean is happiest when surrounded by his people and may feel anxious when separated, so a family that enjoys including their dog in daily life would be the perfect fit. Whether it’s morning walks, backyard romps, or lounging on the couch after a long day, Bean is ready to be your constant companion.
