Meet Buddy and Chica!
An approximately two to three-year-old bonded pair currently in Gilbert, AZ, whose black and tan coats and bright spirits create twice the love in one tiny, ten pound package. These little companions have grown side by side, forming a connection that is as heartwarming as it is unbreakable!
Buddy is the scruffy Terrier mix with the darker, fluffier coat and an expressive face full of curiosity. Chica is the smooth coated Chihuahua mix with large upright ears who catch every sound, especially if it involves a treat bag opening! Both are affectionate to the core. They adore curling up beside their people, happily snoozing through the night close to the ones they trust. If you sit down, expect company. If you lie down, expect gentle snuggles. And if you need kisses, they will gladly lick you to pieces!
They use a doggy door like pros and enjoy stretching their little legs in a fenced yard. Rope toys, early morning walks, and car rides are high on their list of favorite activities. Though they can be vocal and take their self appointed guard dog roles seriously, they are barkers, not biters. Loud noises and storms can make them timid, so reassurance and a calm presence go a long way.
Buddy and Chica have not had formal training yet, but they are attentive and responsive to body language. With positive reinforcement, training classes, and consistency, they are ready to blossom. They would be compatible with a younger, active family who can provide engagement, stability, and continued socialization. They are shy around other dogs but not aggressive, and their experience with cats is still unknown.
Neutered, spayed, microchipped, and in good health, they are prepared for their next chapter together. These good dogs simply need a little training and a lot of love in a new loving environment where their bond can continue to thrive.
Could your family be the one where Buddy and Chica continue their beautiful journey side by side?
