A loving almost four-year-old American Bully currently in Hendersonville, TN, whose golden coat with soft white accents seems to glow whenever she is by your side. Lily is the kind of companion who happily shadows her favorite people, bringing a steady sense of warmth and connection to everyday life. At home, she enjoys relaxing nearby, hopping up for affection, and keeping a gentle eye on everything going on.
She has grown up in a busy, active household alongside children and has shown herself to be gentle, patient, and comfortable in their presence. Lily truly enjoys being part of the family rhythm, whether that means lounging nearby during quiet moments or following along during the day’s activities. Her affectionate nature makes her a comforting and steady presence for both adults and kids alike.
She also has a playful streak, especially when a rope toy or Nyla bone is involved, and she never says no to a good walk! With her medium energy, daily strolls and time to explore help her feel balanced and content. Lily is house-trained, comfortable spending short periods alone, and knows helpful cues like sit, come, and no, especially when guided with positive reinforcement.
She rides well in the car and greets new people with a friendly, welcoming spirit, making her a joy to include in family outings! Because she forms strong bonds, Lily thrives in a caring environment where she can stay close to her people.
However, Lily must be the only dog in her new loving home due to her history of serious reactivity toward other dogs. In recent months, she has had multiple incidents where she bit and injured another dog in the home, as well as a neighbor’s dog after getting out of the house, both dogs required veterinary care. These moments can be intense, so she needs a knowledgeable, experienced guardian who understands strong, intelligent breeds and someone who can provide structure, management, and continued behavior support to help her feel secure and successful.
Lily is also sensitive to loud environments, so a calmer setting will help her feel secure. A securely fenced yard is required so she can safely enjoy her outdoor time, stretch her legs, and explore at her own pace before returning to your side. Mealtime is a highlight, and she does best with a special salmon or kangaroo based diet that keeps her feeling her best.
