Meet Pumpkin Spice!
A gentle nine-and-a-half-year-old Coonhound currently in Pine Valley, CA, whose journey now includes finding a new loving home after the passing of her devoted pet parent, and whose warm tan and white coat perfectly matches her calm and comforting presence. This sweet girl carries herself with quiet confidence, bringing a sense of ease to every space she shares. With her soulful eyes and steady nature, Pumpkin Spice has a beautiful way of turning ordinary days into something special.
She enjoys a simple and satisfying routine, starting her mornings with a peaceful walk after breakfast and winding down with an afternoon nap before dinner. Time spent outdoors is one of her favorite joys, whether she is exploring a securely fenced yard or stretching her legs with a relaxed stroll. She also has a soft spot for car rides, happily riding along as a loyal sidekick!
Pumpkin Spice is house-trained, independent, and comfortable spending time on her own, making her a wonderful match for a caregiver who appreciates a dog who is both devoted and low maintenance. While she is neutral around other dogs, she tends to enjoy her own space and does not actively seek out canine companionship. True to her Coonhound instincts, she is not compatible with cats or small animals, as her curiosity and prey drive can take over.
She thrives in a calm, predictable environment and would do well in a home without young children, as sudden noise and activity can make her uneasy. Stormy weather can also be a bit unsettling for her, so a reassuring presence during those moments helps her feel safe. Pumpkin Spice does require medication to manage a heart murmur, and she responds well to consistent care.
Her most endearing trait is her loving nature. She leans into quiet companionship, enjoying simply being near her people. If you are looking for a steady, affectionate companion who finds joy in life’s quieter rhythms, Pumpkin Spice is ready to share that journey!
Could Pumpkin Spice be the comforting presence your home has been waiting for?
