A charming nine-year-old German Shepherd/English Bulldog/Cocker Spaniel mix currently in Marietta, GA, whose essence is a warm blend of loyalty, gentleness, and companionship wrapped in a handsome tan coat. Guided by a fascinating family tree that includes a full-blooded German Shepherd father and an English Bulldog and Cocker Spaniel mix mother, Hank inherited his distinctive “small shepherd” face, sturdy 50-pound build, and wonderfully sweet nature.
Hank is the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into brighter ones simply by being nearby! Whether he is heading out for a leisurely leash walk, relaxing in the sunshine, or keeping a watchful eye on his favorite people, he brings a calm and comforting presence wherever he goes. His favorite activity is walking, and he thrives with a predictable routine that includes a short morning stroll and a longer afternoon adventure. He also enjoys the freedom of doggy door access and has a relaxed approach to mealtime, happily free-feeding throughout the day.
Friendly is one of the best words to describe Hank! He enjoys meeting strangers, gets along well with other dogs, and is wonderfully gentle with children of all ages. His affectionate personality makes him an excellent companion for families, couples, or individuals looking for a devoted canine friend. Hank has received obedience training, responds to his name, and understands commands such as “come” and “stop.” He is also comfortable being left alone for short periods and settles easily into daily life.
This lovable boy is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He has no known health concerns and no history of challenging behaviors. His only notable quirks are that visits to the veterinarian and groomer can make him a little nervous, and thunderstorms are not among his favorite things.
