Tummy rubs are among his favorite things, and he never misses a chance to enjoy a cozy moment close to the people he loves!
Rudy is wonderfully easygoing and communicates in the gentlest ways. He is not interested in kitty treats, but he certainly knows when breakfast or dinner should arrive! A few soft meows and a heartwarming stare are usually all it takes to get his message across. His calm personality shines through every part of his day, from relaxing beside his family to patiently sitting through nail trims without fuss!
As a lifelong indoor companion, Rudy finds plenty of excitement in simple pleasures. He loves watching birds through the window and chatting with them from the screen door. A laser pointer can inspire an energetic burst of play, and if a dry autumn leaf drifts indoors, he can turn it into hours of entertainment! He also has a special talent for locating the last patch of late-morning sunshine, where he stretches out for a peaceful nap.
One of Rudy’s most charming habits is being a true “side kitty.” Rather than curling up in a lap, he gently presses against your side at bedtime and may rest a paw on your leg while purring contentedly.
Rudy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and has enjoyed excellent health throughout his life. He would thrive in a calm, indoor-only home with a patient family who appreciates a mellow senior companion.
