Meet Snickers!
An affectionate seven-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Wake Forest, NC, whose gentle spirit and beautiful tortoiseshell coat make her an unforgettable companion with a wonderfully loud purr.
At about 10 pounds, this medium-sized girl is happiest when she can be close to her favorite people. And by close, Snickers means really close! If you are relaxing on the couch or stretched out for a quiet afternoon, she may decide the coziest spot in the room is right beside you, or even on top of you. Her favorite activity is simply sharing your company, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates an affectionate feline shadow.
Snickers has an especially charming way of requesting attention. She will rub herself against you, sharing her scent and patiently making her case for some well-earned petting. Once the affection begins, so does her impressive purr! This sweet girl has plenty to say without uttering a word, and her rumbling motor is a cheerful soundtrack for cuddle time.
Snickers can be timid and shy, particularly around other cats. She currently retreats to quiet hiding places because of conflict with other felines, so she needs a calm, caring environment where she can feel secure, relax, and enjoy the human attention she loves. Snickers would do better as the only cat in her new loving home, where she can have plenty of peaceful personal space and soak up affection without the stress of sharing her environment with other cats.
She is spayed and has no known health conditions. Her combination of sweetness, sensitivity, and devotion makes her a wonderful match for a patient family ready to let her settle in at her own pace.
Life with Snickers could mean cozy evenings, enthusiastic head rubs, warm companionship, and a purr loud enough to remind you that your attention is deeply appreciated! She is ready for a new loving home where she can feel secure, cherished, and included in everyday life.
Could this tortoiseshell cuddlebug be the companion you have been hoping to welcome into your family?
