Meet Adeline!
A sweet fourteen-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Townsend, WA, whose charming spirit shines through her beautiful tortoiseshell coat and her endless conversations with the people she loves.
Adeline is proof that age is just a number! She still races through the house with joyful zoomies, eagerly watches the world outside, and dreams of becoming the neighborhood's greatest bird hunter from the safety of her favorite window. When feathered visitors appear, she stretches tall, taps the glass with determined little paws, and sometimes even gives an enthusiastic leap in hopes of catching them. It is impossible not to smile at her playful determination!
While she may be shy when meeting someone new, patience unlocks her wonderfully funny personality. Once she feels safe, Adeline becomes a loyal companion who loves staying close to her favorite person. She is not much of a lap cat, but she happily curls up nearby, keeping you company through quiet evenings and lazy weekends. She is wonderfully vocal, especially when mealtime approaches, and her dramatic yowls make sure nobody forgets that dinner is important!
Adeline is spayed, healthy, and has never experienced ongoing medical concerns beyond the occasional hairball. She especially enjoys wet food and appreciates a predictable routine. Because she can be anxious and was frightened by a difficult nail-trimming experience, she needs a calm caregiver who will let trust grow at her own pace and respect her boundaries.
She would thrive as the only pet in an indoor-only home with an experienced cat parent. She is not compatible with other cats, and while she briefly tolerated a nose touch with a dog, her compatibility with dogs and children has not been fully assessed. Her future family will discover a gentle, affectionate girl who rewards kindness with loyalty, funny conversations, and quiet companionship.
Could this talkative little sweetheart be the companion you have been hoping to meet?
