Meet Oreo and Vanilla Bean!
A bonded pair of five-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair littermates currently in Lewisville, TX, whose complementary personalities bring together one devoted cuddlebug and one delightfully spicy little roommate, both wrapped in beautiful tuxedo coats.
Oreo, a medium-sized ten-pound boy, is the lovey-dovey half of this charming duo! Once he feels comfortable, he is all about affection. He will climb right onto your chest, curl up in your lap, snuggle close, and enthusiastically headbutt your face as if personal space were merely a suggestion. This social sweetheart also has plenty to say, especially when he thinks more petting is in order. Add his impressive purr motor and love of toy mice, and Oreo makes everyday lounging considerably cozier.
Vanilla Bean, an eight-pound girl affectionately known as “Little Girl,” brings the spice! She enjoys being around her people, but affection happens on her schedule. Picking her up is generally not on the agenda unless she has personally approved the arrangement. Once comfortable, she likes hanging out nearby, playing with toy mice on strings and jingling balls, and carrying on full conversations with her people. Talk to Vanilla Bean, and there is a good chance she will talk right back!
These littermates have spent their entire lives side by side and need to be adopted together. Oreo is neutered, Vanilla Bean is spayed, and no health concerns have been reported. Their compatibility with children and unfamiliar cats has not been assessed, so thoughtful introductions and careful consideration would be important. A dog-free, indoor-only loving home would suit this pair, especially with an attentive pet parent who appreciates both Oreo’s wholehearted snuggling and Vanilla Bean’s independent streak.
Together, they offer the wonderful rhythm of life with two cats who know each other completely: one ready to cuddle close and one happy to supervise nearby. Their different personalities make them an entertaining, affectionate pair with twice the conversation, playtime, and companionship!
