Meet Tito!
A sweet seven-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Palm Harbor, FL, whose gentle spirit is wrapped in a handsome brown tabby and white coat.
At about 14 pounds, Tito is a medium-sized gentleman with a sensitive heart. He may be shy when meeting new people, so patience is an important part of earning his trust. Give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable, and his wonderfully affectionate personality begins to shine. Once Tito knows he is safe, he becomes an enthusiastic snuggler who loves cuddling close to his favorite people!
Tito’s happy place is a screened lanai, where the outdoors provides endless entertainment. Squirrels scampering past, birds fluttering nearby, and lizards making surprise appearances can keep this observant boy captivated for hours. Add a catnip mouse to the agenda, and Tito has all the ingredients for a delightful afternoon!
He also has some wonderfully memorable quirks. Tito shows his teeth when he purrs, creating an adorably funny expression during his happiest moments. Treat time comes with another clue: he starts drooling in anticipation! Perhaps his sweetest greeting happens after a nap, when he lovingly rubs his face against your cheek to say hello.
Tito is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He has no reported medical conditions, though he has experienced anxiety and will need a patient, reassuring approach as he adjusts to his new surroundings. A calm routine and plenty of time to settle in can help this sensitive boy build confidence.
Because Tito is not compatible with other cats, he is seeking a caring environment where he can enjoy his feline kingdom without another cat. Most importantly, he needs people who can spend meaningful time with him and appreciate the loving companion waiting beneath his initially reserved exterior.
