Meet Sugar!
A spirited three-and-a-half-year-old American Bulldog/American Pitbull Terrier mix currently in Youngsville, NC, whose joyful personality shines through her beautiful brown brindle and white coat. At about 60 pounds, this medium-sized girl is an affectionate, playful companion who brings enthusiasm, silliness, and plenty of personality wherever she goes!
Sugar takes playtime seriously. Balls, ropes, bones, and toys of nearly every kind earn her enthusiastic approval, although stuffed toys may quickly discover that Sugar has strong opinions about their stuffing. Fetch and tug-of-war are favorite activities, and she also loves walks, outdoor adventures, sunbathing, and rolling around in the grass. A secure, fenced-in yard would give this playful girl a wonderful place to romp, stretch her legs, and show off her goofy side!
Smart and eager to please, Sugar already knows sit, down, and shake. She comes when called, is house-trained and crate-trained, and is exceptionally quiet in her crate, even when exciting things are happening around her. She also does well when left alone for short periods and enjoys car rides, making her a fun companion for adventures near and far!
Sugar is friendly with new people and incredibly affectionate with her favorite humans. She does well with calm, respectful older children and has previously lived successfully with cats. When it comes to dogs, Sugar is selective. She needs a family without female dogs and may be compatible with a larger, playful male dog after thoughtful introductions. She would also be happy soaking up the attention as the only dog.
After hiking, walking, playing, and investigating the toy collection, Sugar happily trades her energetic antics for couch time. She loves curling up beside her people, content to snuggle after a satisfying day of fun!
Sugar is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, with no known health concerns. She is ready for a caring family who will appreciate her playful spirit, affectionate nature, and wonderfully silly grass-rolling performances!
