Meet LaCroix!
A spirited ten-month-old American Pitbull Terrier mix currently in Phelan, CA, whose essence is a playful burst of puppy joy wrapped in a cream-colored coat and unforgettable icy blue eyes.
LaCroix is a sweet, people-loving boy who approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and plenty of puppy energy! At an estimated adult weight of around 50 pounds, this medium-sized charmer is ready for a family who can keep up with his active spirit and give him the exercise, attention, and adventures he enjoys.
Walks are an important part of LaCroix’s routine, and he needs two each day to help keep his body moving and his curious mind engaged. When playtime rolls around, Kong balls are a favorite, although a tasty Milkbone is another reliable way to make his day! He also enjoys car rides, making him a cheerful companion for families who like taking their canine sidekick along for the journey.
LaCroix is house-trained, crate-trained, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He will be neutered before adoption. Although he has not received formal obedience training, this clever puppy already knows “sit” and “stay,” comes when called, and has a great foundation for continued learning. Positive reinforcement and training classes can help him turn those puppy skills into excellent grown-up manners!
Social LaCroix loves meeting people and other dogs, and he is very friendly with canine companions. He is also comfortable and gentle with children of all ages! His compatibility with cats is currently unknown because he has not had enough interaction with them to know how he feels.
A fenced yard will give LaCroix a secure place to stretch his legs, play, and enjoy his energetic puppy days. He also handles being alone for short periods well and has no known anxiety triggers or health concerns.
