Meet Goose!
A spirited one-and-a-half-year-old Mastiff/Shepherd mix currently in Phelan, CA, whose essence is a sunny burst of affection wrapped in a golden coat with white accents and a handsome black muzzle.
At around 60 pounds, Goose is a medium-sized boy with an extra-large love for people! Cuddling is high on his list of priorities, especially when treats are involved, and Milkbones hold a particularly special place in his heart. He is a little chunky these days, so daily walks will help him stay active, healthy, and ready for plenty of adventures with his new family!
Goose has the wonderful distinction of being a tripod, meaning he gets around on three legs. Missing a leg has not dimmed his positive energy or playful personality one bit! His cheerful approach to life is one of his most endearing qualities, and he has plenty of joyful companionship to share.
This friendly boy has medium energy and enjoys meeting new people. He is gentle and comfortable with children of all ages, and he loves meeting and playing with other dogs. His compatibility with cats is still unknown because he has not had enough feline interaction to know how he feels about them.
Goose is house-trained and crate-trained, comes when called, and already knows sit, stay, and lay down. Although he has not attended formal obedience training, he has a nice foundation of skills, and positive reinforcement could make learning together a fun bonding experience. He also likes car rides, so trips around town or adventures farther afield can be part of the fun!
Goose is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He has no reported history of challenging behavior, anxiety triggers, or other health concerns beyond being a three-legged pup who may benefit from thoughtful exercise and attentive care.
Most of all, Goose needs a new loving family ready to appreciate his cuddly nature, upbeat spirit, treat enthusiasm, and unmistakable tripod charm! Could this people-loving, Milkbone-loving golden boy be the cheerful companion your family has been waiting to meet?
