Meet Arlo!
A spirited almost one-year-old Doberman Pinscher/Shepherd mix currently in Phelan, CA, whose essence is an adventurous burst of joy wrapped in a stunning black and brown coat.
At about 60 pounds when fully grown, Arlo is a large, handsome boy with soulful eyes that seem to tell a whole story before he even asks you to grab the leash! And speaking of leashes, hiking is one of Arlo’s greatest joys. This active pup needs long daily walks and would be compatible with a family who enjoys exploring trails, stretching their legs, and sharing outdoor adventures with an enthusiastic canine companion.
When he is not hitting the trail, Arlo is delighted to entertain himself with Kong toys. Add a Milk-Bone to the equation, and you may have discovered the shortcut to his heart! His playful, high-energy personality makes everyday life feel a little more exciting.
Arlo is wonderfully social, too! He is gentle and comfortable with children of all ages, loves meeting and playing with other dogs, and generally gets along well with cats. He is also friendly with new people, making him an outgoing companion who is ready to expand his circle of friends.
This clever youngster already knows sit, stay, and “come now.” Although he has not attended formal obedience classes, he has a great foundation for continuing his education through positive reinforcement and training classes. Arlo is house-trained, crate-trained, comfortable being left alone for short periods, and requires a fenced yard where he can safely enjoy some extra exercise and playtime.
Arlo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, with no known health concerns. Most of all, Arlo needs a new loving family who will appreciate his affectionate spirit, energetic nature, and enthusiasm for adventure.
