Meet Oreo!
A loving five-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Lewisville, TX, whose essence is pure cuddlebug charm wrapped in a handsome black-and-white tuxedo coat.
At a medium-sized 10 pounds, Oreo is the kind of boy who knows how to turn an ordinary evening on the couch into a full-fledged snuggle session! Once he feels comfortable with you, affection becomes his specialty. He will happily climb onto your chest, curl up in your lap, and settle in close as though he has been assigned the very important job of keeping you cozy.
And then there are the headbutts! Oreo enthusiastically bumps his face against yours when he wants attention, proving that personal space is really more of a loose suggestion in his world. His impressive purr motor provides the soundtrack, and he is not shy about speaking up when he believes additional petting should be on the agenda.
Oreo has a playful side, too! Toy mice are among his favorites, giving him opportunities to stalk, pounce, and show off his feline hunting skills before returning to his preferred occupation of lounging with his people. His combination of playfulness, conversation, and wholehearted affection makes him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a social cat nearby.
Oreo is neutered, and no health concerns have been reported. His compatibility with children and unfamiliar cats has not been assessed, so thoughtful introductions would be important. A dog-free, indoor-only loving home would suit him well and give him a caring environment where he can settle in at his own pace.
Oreo has spent his life alongside his littermate, Vanilla Bean, and the two share a special connection. He would love to be adopted with his sister if a family has room in their hearts for two, but Oreo can also be adopted on his own.
