Meet Bibi!
A gentle fourteen-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Clifton, NJ, whose essence is pure companionship wrapped in a beautiful brown tabby coat.
At 15 pounds, Bibi is a large, slightly chubby senior girl with a wonderfully social spirit! She is a true velcro cat who loves staying close to her people, whether she is curled up beside them, sleeping on the bed, or keeping them company throughout the day. And Bibi has plenty to say! This vocal sweetheart enjoys chatting with her favorite humans and making sure nobody forgets she is nearby.
Do not let her senior status fool you! Bibi still plays with kitten-like enthusiasm, especially when a feather wand appears. She adores scratching posts, climbing a tall cat tree, and settling into a lofty perch to watch birds outside. Bird-watching is serious entertainment for this curious girl! She also enjoys brief, supervised adventures outdoors where she can safely breathe in fresh air and inspect her surroundings before heading back inside.
Bibi is spayed, vaccinated, non-destructive, and her most recent veterinary exam went well. She has also lived peacefully with another cat, aside from an occasional tiny squabble, and may be timid at first with feline companions. Her compatibility with dogs and children has not been assessed.
A calm, stable home with an adult cat lover, especially someone familiar with senior cats, would suit Bibi beautifully. She needs plenty of companionship, affection, freedom to enjoy the home, and a welcoming spot on the bed. Someone who is home often and appreciates an affectionate shadow will find plenty to love about her. Most of all, she wants to feel included in everyday life, sharing quiet moments, cuddles, and conversation. Her current guardian has offered to continue paying for her top-tier pet insurance and may also help with food, litter, and other needs.
