Meet Tinker!
A sweet and shy six-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Franklin Square, NY, whose gentle personality comes wrapped in a striking white coat decorated with handsome gray patches.
At around 22 pounds, Tinker is a wonderfully big boy with a tender heart! He can be timid when first getting comfortable, but patience gives this affectionate fellow the chance to show just how loving he can be. Once Tinker feels secure, he enjoys affection, being picked up, and spending time with the people he trusts. Show him love, and he has a charming way of returning it right back!
Tinker also has a playful side waiting to emerge. He enjoys a variety of interactive cat toys, including favorites from brands such as Frisco and Catstages. He has amusing little habits that add personality to his days, and his vocal nature means his family can expect the occasional feline commentary, too! Watching this initially shy boy relax, play, and share his affectionate side can make everyday moments feel especially rewarding.
This indoor gentleman currently lives alongside other cats. Tinker may be timid around feline companions at first, but he can become playful and tolerant once he has time to settle in. He is suitable for a family with calm, respectful older children who can give him the gentle interactions he appreciates. Because Tinker has reacted to dogs, he needs a loving home without canine companions.
Tinker is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has a clean bill of health. His new family should be committed to keeping him safely indoors, giving him time to adjust at his own pace, and treating him as a cherished member of the family.
One companion is already especially close to Tinker’s heart: his brother, Kittycat. These brothers have been together their entire lives and Tinker would love to be adopted with Kittycat if possible.
