Meet Dennis!
A snuggly six-month-old Domestic Short Hair kitten currently in Vancouver, WA, whose dashing tuxedo coat comes wrapped around a gentle, playful boy with an impressive talent for turning eye contact into cuddle requests.
Dennis may be a little timid while getting comfortable, but patience and gentleness reveal his wonderfully affectionate personality. Once he knows his people, this love bug wants to be close! When Dennis is looking for attention, he has an especially charming routine: he reaches out, gives a tiny squeak, and fixes you with an intense gaze that makes his message wonderfully clear. Hug me, please!
And hugs are serious business for Dennis. Being held and snuggled is one of his favorite things, and he enjoys spending time near his people. If he finds himself alone, he may quietly call once or twice until he locates his favorite humans. Then comes the affection!
Dennis also has plenty of kitten energy. He loves chasing, climbing, play fighting with other cats, and pursuing toys tossed across the room. His funniest obsession is the fuzzy fabric he has enthusiastically removed from fluffy toys. Once Dennis has liberated one of these treasured scraps, he will happily race around carrying his prize, apparently convinced he has discovered the greatest toy ever invented!
This social boy is friendly with other cats and would benefit from feline companionship or a family with someone home regularly. He is gentle and comfortable with children of all ages. His compatibility with dogs is unknown because he has not had enough experience with them yet. Dennis needs an indoor-only loving home where he can have time to adjust, plenty of play, companionship, and, naturally, an excellent supply of cuddles.
Dennis is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, with no known health concerns. His combination of sweetness, silliness, and affection promises plenty of joyful moments for the family who welcomes him.
