Meet Cricket and Daphne!
Two bonded six-month-old Domestic Short Hair kittens currently in Vancouver, WA, whose gentle hearts, playful spirits, and serious enthusiasm for lap time make them an especially lovable pair.
Cricket, a handsome gray and tan tabby boy, is the resident belly-rub enthusiast! Once he feels comfortable, he wants nothing more than to settle onto a lap, face forward for television time, expose his tummy, and collect as much affection as possible. Belly rubs, neck scratches, sweet conversation, and his favorite pink toy mouse are among his greatest pleasures! When he cannot find his person or feels attention is overdue, Cricket even produces an adorable little “dissatisfied grunt” to summon assistance.
Daphne, a beautiful gray tabby and white girl, has her own charming communication system. She makes a tiny, high-pitched peep when she cannot find her person or would like more attention. She is also developing quite a passion for burrowing beneath blankets and shirts, because apparently ordinary snuggling simply is not close enough! Jingly balls, wand toys, cozy hidey holes, and lap time keep this affectionate girl very happy.
Both kittens are sensitive and shy at first, but their playful sides emerge as they become comfortable. They romp with other cats and can be wonderfully rambunctious together! Neither particularly enjoys being picked up, so a family who lets affection happen on their terms will help them continue building confidence.
Most importantly, Cricket and Daphne have a special bond. Their companionship helps these sensitive kittens feel secure, and they need to be adopted together so they can continue experiencing new adventures side by side.
They are friendly with other cats and suitable for calm, respectful older children. Both are shy around dogs and prefer keeping their distance. They need an indoor-only, peaceful, patient home with plenty of affection, play, companionship, and time to adjust.
Cricket is neutered, and Daphne’s spay is being scheduled. Both are up to date on vaccinations and have no known health concerns. Is there room on your lap for two sweet little shadows who plan to stay close?
