This playful girl is around 50 pounds of potential grown-up adventure, with a heart full of love and a nose ready to investigate everything! Maple believes life is one big playground, especially when tug-of-war, crinkle toys, peanut butter, or a leisurely sniff walk is involved. And belly rubs? Those are practically her love language!
Maple is a smart little cookie who is already mastering "sit," "come," and her name. Like any young herding-type puppy, she needs continued training, patience, and plenty of opportunities to channel her curiosity. She can be a little jumpy and mouthy during playtime, but she's learning quickly. Even better, her trainer has generously offered free transition training to help her adopting family get started!
This friendly sweetheart loves meeting new people and has enjoyed spending time with children ages 3, 7, and 9, although her puppy enthusiasm means supervision and guidance are important. When introduced to a four-year-old Golden Retriever, Maple sweetly rolled onto her back to welcome his greeting. She could be compatible with a friendly resident dog, while her compatibility with cats remains unknown.
Maple appreciates structure and already follows a consistent daily routine. She's comfortable napping in her crate for short periods and generally settles after a little protesting in her pen. She'll thrive with an active family who can offer walks, playtime, positive reinforcement, and plenty of affection.
This medium-energy sweetheart is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Her DNA test result is pending.
